Waiting times for assessment, diagnosis and treatment have become very high for both conditions in Adults and Children in Billericay in the last 5 years. Therefore the health commissioners have established private providers through the 'Right to Choose' process.
The Owl Centre provide Autism and ADHD assessments for both Adults and Children under this scheme. Our patients go to the top of the waiting list and can expected to be seen within months rather than years.
If ADHD medication is recommended, this can be prescribed by the GP once the team have stablised you on it.
