Help Us to Help You

We aim to provide an excellent standard of care and we strive to improve things when they go wrong.

Complaints and Compliments

If you would like to discuss a concern or make a compliment, please either email us at manager.westernroadsurgerybillericay@nhs.net, or ask reception to book a call with the manager.

If you would like to formally complain, you can do this verbally, by email to Julie Jackson or by letter to the practice address. We aim to acknowledge your complaint in 3 working days and respond to it in 21 days.

You can also complain directly to the Mid and South Essex Integrated Care Board who commission our services by calling 01268 594444,  emailing Mseicb.complaints@nhs.net or writing to Phoenix House, Christopher Martin Road, Basildon, Essex, SS14 3H.

Our practice complaints leaflet (below) gives further information about the complaints procedure.

Get Involved

Patient Participation Group (PPG):

This group meets with the Practice Manager and the lead Partner 4 times a year to discuss issues affecting the practice and help to improve delivery of services.

Patient Participation Group Virtual Group (Virtual PPG):

These are patients who have volunteered to receive email questionnaires from the practice and from professional bodies throughout the year whose feedback is valuable to the NHS

To be involved in either of these groups please contact manager.westernroadsurgerybillericay@nhs.net.

Feedback

We regularly undertake Feedback surveys from our patients to check our services are meeting your needs.

In addition, all GP surgeries are regularly reviewed by the independent GP National Survey. Results of this can be found at https://www.gp-patient.co.uk/patientexperiences?practicecode=F81013 .

Below are questionnaire results for the survey completed by the Virtual Patient Participation group in Sept 2023.
