**Spring COVID boosters 2024**

These will be offered to those who are Over 75, severely immunosuppressed, or living in care homes. (This is a much narrower list than who the government chose to vaccinate in the Autumn, so if you are not in one of the above groups, we will likely be in contact in September).

We will be vaccinating on the afternoon of Tuesday 14^th May, so please ask reception to book this for you. You may also receive a text with a direct booking link if you have a mobile phone.

On that day the car park will be busy. Please leave your cars at home where possible, or use the town centre car parks.

As we are sure you are aware, expectation of the NHS is currently quite high. While we endeavour to manage your needs and access to the surgery, we are finding of late that the expectation cannot be met within the resources we have as a practice. For instance, we have noticed we are getting an increasing number of calls late on Friday afternoon for patients who have forgotten to order medication and will run out over the weekend. You will start to see in such circumstances that we may not always be able to help you, and you will be advised to ring 111 who provide medication in such situations.

These lines are manned from 8am- 6.30pm Monday to Friday and we do our best to answer calls as quickly as possible.

Please phone the surgery about any concern which could be an emergency. While electronic methods of communications are checked regularly, phoning is

the safest method of contacting if you are concerned.

SystmOne Online

SystmOne online allows you to access your records to adjust your contact details, see your clinical records, order medications on your Repeat Medication list, Make Appointments and Cancel Appointments. Click below to log in:

All appointments booked online are currently PHONE appointments with DOCTORS.

You can register for access to your online account by bring photo ID to reception if you are older than 14 years old, and parents and carers can link to their dependants in some situations.

Econsult

E-consult allows patients to submit consultations online between 7am and 8pm on weekdays, by answering a series of questions related to the issue. This might be medical or administrative. These will be answered in a timescale appropriate for the condition, but PLEASE DO NOT USE AN ECONSULT TO CONTACT THEY SURGERY ABOUT ANYTHING THAT COULD BE AN EMERENCY- CALL 01277 658117.
